The
Southern Rhode Island Newspapers voted on their All-Area Teams in late December
2012. Among the many EHGS Avengers named to All-Area Teams in football, boys
and girls soccer, field hockey, girls tennis, boys and girls cross country, and
girls volleyball were several Avenger athletes named as the MVPs of the
All-Area Teams for their respective sports. Included in this talented list are
Carney Crawford for football, Aleksandra Drljaca for tennis, Margaret McCaffrey
for girls cross country, and Keri Pallister for field hockey. Additionally,
three Avenger coaches were named Coach of the Year. This year Mr. John George
was named for football, Mr. Marc Brocato for girls tennis, and Mr. Pete Dion
for boys cross country. Go East!
