EGHS Student to Present at RI Council for Elementary & Secondary Education

Great news from Mrs. Patricia Page:

The Rhode Island Council for Elementary and Secondary Education will consider the recommendation to adopt Personal Finance standards at tomorrow night's (Thursday) board meeting.

Charlotte Palmer, member of the @realEdRI student team which emanated from Choose2Matter, will make a formal presentation based on the accompanying analysis, in support of the Commissioner's recommendation. The official approval by the "combined" councils is set for November 10.

Great job Charlotte and thank you for your hard work on behalf of all Rhode Island students!

Adam Sticca will perform a featured piece on keyboard as the evening’s preshow.   Both talented EG Seniors are doing their school proud on the professional stage.   End a most exciting week of Cabarets and see these two with a dynamite team, bring NYC energy to downtown EG.   For more info and Tickets, visit  www.theodeum.org.

Art on Display

It is always wonderful to walk down the halls of EGHS and see the amazing art work that our students create. Below are a few of the art pieces currently on display. These far away images do not do the work justice, so I hope you will have the time to stop and view this work up-close. For those who cannot, we will try to get individual pictures of the art currently on display posted to the blog shortly.
