EGHS Chromebook Information SY 17-18

Dear Members of the EGHS Community,

I have some great news- We will be able to distribute Chromebooks to students on Tuesday 9/5 during the school day.

Important forms and information:

1. Critical Document- Chromebook Loan Agreement. Students received a paper copy of this in their last period class today. This form must be signed by parents/guardians, as well as students, and returned on Tuesday in order for a Chromebook to be issued to a student on Tuesday.

Insurance:

Insurance is available from the Worth Ave Group for $30.60. This is the same provider as previous years. Details about insurance can be found on this enrollment form. Please note: how insurance is purchased has changed. Purchase of insurance will no longer go through EGPS. Families purchasing insurance can do so via the EG Worth Ave website (found here), or via mail to the address found on the aforementioned Worth Ave enrollment form. Additionally, based on feedback from previous years-- all claims and repairs for those who purchase insurance will be handled by Worth Ave directly with each family, not through EGPS (this way you can track the chromebook as well as the status of any repairs and returns).
