EGHS Hosts 11 Schools for AATF Concert

Letter shared with permission-

Re: Francophone concert

Dear Mr. Podraza,

On behalf of the Rhode Island chapter of the AATF, I would like to thank you for agreeing to
host our francophone concert for students of French of Rhode Island on 21 November. The
annual ceremony was once again a great success! Eleven schools and nearly 600 students attended the concert with Franco-Togolese musician Brice Kapel. The chapter is also very thankful for our long-standing collaboration with EGHS French teacher Julie Varone and very much appreciates her help in coordinating such a large event.

In addition, I thank you for your support of French studies as an important course in the
contemporary American classroom.

Sincerely yours,

Michael Hébert
President
