Dear EGHS Parents/Guardians:
On behalf of the faculty and staff at East Greenwich High School, it is my pleasure to invite you to join us at our annual Open House on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. We will begin the evening in the Auditorium where Mr. Chace and I will meet with parents to give an overview of the many exciting developments occurring at EGHS this year. At 6:25 p.m. we will transition to the classroom portion of the evening where you will have the opportunity to visit classrooms and meet your child’s teachers.
Teachers will acquaint you with each course, the textbook/supplementary materials used, teacher and student expectations, homework, grading policies, and procedures for communicating with the school. If you or the teachers have concerns that warrant greater discussion as related to your child’s progress, I would ask that you arrange for a private appointment with the teacher at another time.
Parents arriving without a student schedule are asked to go to the Guidance Office to have one printed.
Mr. Chace and I will be available throughout the evening if you have any questions, comments or concerns. The classroom portion of the evening will begin at 6:30 in your child’s Advisory classroom.
