EGHS National Honor Society Offers Support Through Peer Tutoring

From Mr. Lenox, NHS Advisor:

Peer Tutor Program

The Peer Tutor Program is a tutoring service available to EGHS students seeking assistance with their assignments, assessments, and/or study habits.  A student requesting services is matched with a qualified student and is scheduled to meet once a week for academic support. Peer Tutor requests will be honored for the duration of the semester. Students are expected to fulfill this obligation (to meet with the tutor for the entire semester) unless notified otherwise. If a student wishes to continue into the next semester, notification is required. If the student would like to continue with the same tutor, every effort will be made to accommodate this request.

To request a peer tutor, please click on the link and complete the form.
Tutoring assignments depend on the availability of tutors in specific subject areas. Allow 1 week for tutoring assignments to be filled. You will receive a notice via email or text. Instructors, Advisors and Guidance Counselors may be notified of the tutoring assignment. The Peer Tutor Program is managed by the National Honor Society. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Lenox.
