Congratulations to Emily Miga, a senior at EGHS who has been named as a national winner of a "LifeSmarts Safety Smart Scholarship". Ms. Miga's work on this scholarship was anchored by the work she did on her Senior Project combined with being a "Safety Smart® Ambassador". According to the scholarship's press release, Safety Smart® Ambassadors are "a partnership between LifeSmarts and UL that pairs high school students with elementary classrooms to teach lessons about health, safety, and the environment."EGHS congratulates Emily on her winning this scholarship.
