-IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS-
EGHS Student Council Food Drive
The EGHS Student Council food drive is now in full swing. All of the food collected will be donated to schools that participate in a ‘BackPack Program’ - a program that allows elementary students to bring food home on Friday to get them through the weekend. Any and all participation from members of the EGHS community is greatly appreciated. The drive ends Tuesday 3-14. Please contact student council advisor, Mr. Nicholas Rath with any questions.
8th Grade Course Selection Begins 3-7
Assistant Principal, Mr. Timothy Chace and the Director of Guidance, Ms. Lyn Hostetler, will be meeting with 8th Graders at Cole on Tuesday the 8th to begin course selection. Because Cole is not yet a 1:1, students will be receiving hard copies of the SY 17-18 Program of Studies and course selection sheets.


-REMINDERS-
Due by 2:30 PM Tuesday the 7th to the Guidance Office- Registration for Advanced Placement Exams.
Current Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors: Signed EGHS Course Selection Sheets Due the 8th to Advisors

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
This week’s “Food for Thought” is a blast from the past as it has been just a touch over 10 years that the iPhone was introduced. Watch as Steve Jobs introduces iPhone in 2007. My how things have changed.
On a related note, please consider coming to EGHS to view “Screenagers” on Thursday evening. Details about this fundraiser for the Cole Interact club can be found in the link above.
