IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • My thanks go out to everyone who made last week’s spirit week and homecoming such a successful and fun week. From class councils, advisors and the student body at large, everyone played a part in creating a week full of school spirit and pride, culminating with the Homecoming dance on Saturday. Special thanks go to Mr. Rath who, through his advising of Student Council, empowers the Council to organize and run every aspect of the week. By every measure, our students were certainly up to the task and created events that did not disappoint.
  • This just in- The East Greenwich High School Jazz Ensemble will be performing on December 10 at the Greenwich Odeum with Saxophonists Dan Moretti and Greg Abate. For more information please go to http://www.greenwichodeum.com/2015/12/10/greg-abate-dan-moretti/

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
This week’s “Food for Thought” is an article from The Atlantic “What If High School Were More Like Kindergarten?” I selected this as the post for the week, not only because of the reflective nature of the author, but also because of the references made to the results of last year’s Gallup Student Poll.
